Charles Bauer, a native of Moscow, Idaho, graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1979, and has received the “AV” rating, issued by the Martingale-Hubbell/LexisNexis Legal Directory, the highest rating an attorney can receive. He is a former chair of the Idaho State Bar Family Law Section, and has regularly written and lectured on family law issues around the state for over 35 years.
Maggie received her Bachelor’s degree from Idaho State University in Business Administration in 1992, and her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 1995. After practiced with Riddell, Williams, Bullitt & Walkinshow and Graham & James for several years, she accepted an appointment as head of the Legal Department for Camas International Corporation, a developer of agricultural sorting technologies serving clients worldwide from headquarters in Pocatello. In 2007, Ryan moved to Boise, & joined Bauer & French in 2010, focusing on complex domestic relations litigations, often involving business aspects, relocations, child custody jurisdiction, and alienation.
Douglas Leavitt served five years as a Seabee in the United States Navy. Upon completion of his Military service he relocated to Toledo Ohio where he earned his Bachelor’s degree from Bluffton University while working in a steel mill. Mr. Leavitt went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2012 and then relocated to Boise, Idaho. Mr. Leavitt has focused his legal practice on domestic relations cases, primarily high conflict, and became a Partner with Bauer Ryan PLLC in January, 2017.
